About Me:: My name is Ameerah Lewis and I am the founder of www.hem-of-his-garment-bible-study.org Bible study online ministry.

I was raised Muslim and did not meet Jesus until I was in college. But, once I felt what true joy and peace was, I was hooked. Ever since then, I have been a "God Chaser!"

I'm now married to an amazing man of God. About 6 years ago, during our engagement, I noticed that something about my physical body was not in line with God's Word. I was constantly tired, and in physical pain. My brain was foggy, and I began to slip in and out of bouts of depression and anxiety.

I went from doctor to doctor, but everyone said that I was fine. Finally, after receiving much prayer, God began leading me through my healing process. One part of that process included trading in my job in the world's education system for a job in Him. That is when The Hem Bible Studies was born.

I had been told for years that I was anointed to teach, but wasn't sure exactly what God wanted to do with that gift. But, now, instead of using it to train people up in the world system, I am so thankful that God allows me to use it to build up Him kingdom and help His children reconnect with Him.
