- My name is Vicki Blair and I live in the Central Valley of California. I have a husband, Bruce, and 3 children. My sons are 25 (lives in L.A. and plays music) and 22 (works for my husband and is a student). My daughter is 15. My husband and kids are all awesome. God has blessed me in so many wonderful ways.
My husband and I own Blair Electric Services, Inc. - an electrical contracting business. God has blessed us. Myself, I own a small (but growing) candle and body care making business. God has used my business to teach me obedience (not easy), humility, and endurance.
My family (that is still at home) attends Porterville Believers Church in Porterville, CA. We are just recently getting "plugged in" there again. It feels good to be able to call somewhere "home".
I'm also currently studying for my Bachelor's Degree in Theology through Summit Bible College in Bakersfield, CA (www.summitbiblecollege.com).
I have a prophetic gifting that mostly involves sitting in the presence of the Lord and journaling what He shows me. I've been called a scribal prophet in the past and I'm learning more about what that means and hoping to meet others with similar callings that will be an inspiriation to me as I press forward. I also hope that I will in turn be a blessing to others in areas where I have had victory or received revelation.
I'm also in the process of writing a book called "The Pillars of Man". God gave me the title and started speaking to me about it in Feb 07. My computer crashed somewhere in the midst of chapter 4, which may have been a "God thing". Maybe there was too much of me mixing with the revelations He was giving me :) So one of these days I plan to dig out all the pieces of paper that I've scribbled His thoughts onto and begin piecing the work together again . . . minus my opinions :)
God is good. I love His ways and how He works in our lives. He is definitely the true source of all joy and riches!

How are you doing? You know God makes the impossible, possible. As I looked at your picture, He told me to say that He is for you and not against you. The enemy must be hitting you pretty hard.

Great to hear from you!! I just returned from an Abiding Glory Conference. It was incredible! Patricia King said that it was the most anointed worship she had ever experienced. We went into the glory.
As far as writing my book is concerned, Kathie Walters first suggested I write books. I would start a book and not finish. The this past October I was at an Abiding Glory Conference where Ryan Wyatt called me out and prophesied that God had assigned a scribe angel to me and that I would write books. I am a dreamer/seer, also. Ryan prophesied that that would increase. My first book is about a dream/vision I had and what God told me when I woke up after the dream/vision. My writing flows now and I am no longer intimidated by what others will think about what I have said. Also, I preached a sermon on the dream/vision revelation I received several times before I wrote the book. Writing the book really opened up more of what the Lord was saying in this experience.

How are you today? It is ice to meet you. I too have the desire to attend seminary later as I get my footing here in Oklahoma. Just retired from the State of Texas after 20 yrs in September 2007. My husband was in the middle of writing his last book, when his computer crashed. So, I know the feeling. I will be backing my book up on a flash drive. Thanks for reminding me.(LOL).
All of the pieces to the story will come back even greater.
