"Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life." Genesis 45:5
Talk about purpose! What is my purpose in life, you ask? Well, I'm pretty certain that Joseph didn't expect to be sold into slavery for simply telling his brothers about a dream that he had, and I'm sure that he never expected that God would do such a mighty work through all the troubles that he experienced, but we must remember that God's ways are not man's ways and man's ways are not God's, because if we begin to think that we know how something should be done we often take God out of the picture. God always knows the plans that he has for you and those plans are not to harm you , but they are meant to prosper you even if it includes your trials, sufferings, and persecutions before we see his plan come to God's desired result. God's desired result for Joseph was that he would be used to save many lives from death by starvation. God may have a similar desired result in your life, one that may find you being used to save the lives of many, just remember that what you are experiencing today is just a part of what will lead to that day.
God's plans are perfect, they always bring about life, we may have to go through some things before we see his plan clearly, but he is always with us and plans to prosper us along the way!
