"I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12:1
Many people prepared themselves for another day at the job today and in that preparation they took the time to dress appropriate according to the standards set forth by their employer, they also took the time to be neatly groomed, some taking a few minutes in preparation while others prepared a b…

Today we are fasting from the thought that says: I feel powerless.
As we launch phase 2 of our fast from wrong thinking, I’m asking the Lord to take us deeper into thinking patterns that will truly liberate us and establish a root system that will guarantee an abundant, fruitful life.
One of the greatest truths I have ever come to understand is that a “sense of powerlessness” is the root to all negative emotions. If you feel powerless to do anything about your past, you feel guilty. If you fee…

"Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3John 2
There is a general overall agreement that the Gospel of Prosperity is not what this scripture is talking about. There are those that have used this scripture to make alot of money for themselves, but this is not talking about money. This scripture refers to happiness and health. Now that doesn't mena that to have a financial increase is a bad thing, God wants…

Encouraging Word

For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, 'Don't be afraid. I am here to help you'.
~ Isaiah 41:13, NLT
I can always use an encouraging word from the Lord. I am currently reading Walking with God by John Eldredge & have highlights all over the place. I have been sitting out in the backyard every morning & in the evenings after work just chillin, listening to the birds & talking to God. A friend from Vitamin Wor…

Today's Scripture
“They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts…” (Romans 2:15).
Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
In the Old Testament, God’s commands were written on stone tablets and kept in the tabernacle. Now, we are living according to the New Testament, and when we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we become His temple. He lives in us, and He engraves His promises and commands in our hearts. How can you be sure of this? This verse goes on to say that your co…

"God is not man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" Numbers 23:19
Has God said something? Then you can count on it coming to pass! All of God’s promises are yes and amen! God is not into trickery, he is not into deceit it is the devil who is a liar and the father of all lies. We need to always take God at his word, what this means is that we should find…

Today's Scripture
“Send your grain across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you” (Ecclesiastes 11:1 NLT).
Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
God’s system works on the principle of sowing and reaping. What you pour out will come back to you in increased measure. When you give generously, a generous harvest will return to you. When you help others succeed, you will find abundant success on your path, too. What are you investing in the lives of the people around you? Are you help…

"Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life." Genesis 45:5
Talk about purpose! What is my purpose in life, you ask? Well, I'm pretty certain that Joseph didn't expect to be sold into slavery for simply telling his brothers about a dream that he had, and I'm sure that he never expected that God would do such a mighty work through all the troubles that he experienced, but we must remember…

The will of God is the greatest wealth you can have. Hebrews 10:7 says that Jesus came to the earth to do God’s will. The reason we need to discover the will of God for our lives and do it is because the greatest wealth and power is in the will of God. There is joy, peace, fulfillment, blessing and abundance in the will of God.
Hebrews 10:36 says in order to do the will of God we need patience - "hang in there power" - the power to stick it out. That kind of power is going to bring you into the…

· Our enemy is the devil and not a person
· He is like a roaring lion and is not an actual lion
· The devil seeks to take our life

Typically when we hear the word slothful used it is refering to someone being lazy, not making the effort that is required to produce a crop, or just someone that doesn't want to work at all. The reason why that is our typical understanding is because this word is almost always applied to the physical and rarely to the spiritual. When someone is slothful in t…

Today, we’re fasting from the thought that says: “I feel guilty.”

You don’t do as much for others as you should. You eat too much.” All this line of thinking produces guilt, which leads to self-hatred, anger toward others, bad decisions, harsh words, procrastination and fear.
So often, we feel guilt because we THINK we…
