- PROFILE OF PROPHETESS BARR. SALLY TOBIAS INNOCENT
Prophetess Barr. Sally Tobias Innocent is a Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, Philanthropist, TV Personality, Mother and Matron. Following her modest beauty, gentleness and charm is a story of tragedy and triumph, poverty and prosperity. She has risen from the ashes of turbulent early years to dedicate her life to helping others change their circumstances, and discover God’s unique plan of destiny for their lives.
Born in an extremely and graciously religious family where the Dad and Mum gave all to the work of God. Her Dad was a clergy, which gave her a Christian background of working for the Lord. Her parents had twelve (12) children and Sally was the last. Incidentally, before her birth the parents lost eight (8) children before she was born. And recently, she lost another sister. But in the wake of all tragedies, most unfortunately, was the fact that her Dad died while she was only three (3) months old.
As a child in primary school, she was brilliant and intelligent, and was also showed care and love from a single mum, wishing to see her daughter become educated, irrespective of all odds. As fate would have it, she had no opportunity to further her education to the Secondary School Level; rather she attended a Commercial School for 3 months. These were all as a result of lack of financial aid, even at a time she lived with the elder brother, instead she was hawking bread on the streets of Lagos, an experience that toughened her character and opened her heart towards the poor and the less priviledged in the society.
With the nature of her childhood to face the realities of life and having no one, except God to rely upon, a formal secondary education was not possible. But it is this circumstances that led to her training as a copy typist for about 3 months. This enabled her to work with the Nigerian Army at an astonish age.
As a child of God, a great breakthrough was to come her way with an important benefactor Alhaji Senator Isa Mohammed, who having seen her sincerity, dedication to duty, absolute loyalty to constituted authority, his wives/children sponsored her to London, where greater opportunities and life molding chances came her way.
In 1987, by God’s grace in her life, she was sponsored to the University of Lagos where she excelled enough with a degree in Law and further went to the Nigeria Law School to obtain her Barrister at Law and called to the Bar. By 1993 – 1994, she went back to University of Lagos for her Masters Degree, where she obtained Masters in International Law and Diplomacy. Prior to these, she was in Singapore for Leadership Training Programme that was very intensive and rewarding, which cost $15,000, which was a grace and favour of God because she did not pay for it and she do not know who paid for it. This was her first theological training.
As a result, her interest in becoming a Preacher grew taller and taller. As a child, she had dreamt of becoming a Secretary, Lawyer, Preacher, Pilot, Member Institute of Strategies Studies Kuru. Thus, by the same 1993 – 1995 she obtained a degree in Divinity, Rivers State. Basically, she has not accomplished only 2 of her academic dreams, Piloting and Kuru Study. All these exposure and educational opportunity came purely through hard work and God’s divine protection at difficult times.
Today, Prophetess Sally Tobias Innocent is a mother and an inspiration to everyone that comes in contact with her through teaching, preaching, prayers and transformation. She Pastors the Fresh Oil International Pentecostal Deliverance Ministry in Abuja, Nigeria, co-host a Television Programme and spearheads humanitarian efforts nationally and internationally, as she travels the world, fulfilling her mission and call – to transform lives, heal hearts and win souls. She travels annually for international conferences especially being the African Coordinator of World Likud.in Israel & Founder/GS of African Center for Israel.
