About Me:
I do not believe in God! I am what you would call an 'atheist' or perhaps an 'agnostic', however I do not consider myself either. I was raised in a christian home and I have also studied religious traditions from around the world. It should be noted that I am also a man of science, mainly physics. It is not my intention to hurt any feelings and I have no doubt that many will be upset by the creation of this account alone, but I am here to question your faith. I encourage onlookers to write me, ask me questions, tell me why I'm wrong! We might even stir up some interesting conversations. AGAIN I do not want to hurt any feeling!!!

it does not matter about religion but the fact that you are faithful there is a big difference between faith and religion and I hope to show you that G-d does exist and that you will find no greater love if you were about to get hurt or even maybe killed I would die for you not because I am a good person but because of this "greater love has no man than this to lay down his life for his friends." If Christ can die for me then I can die for you it may be in that moment that you finally have that light bulb moment and come to G-d no matter how far we run from him if you turn around you will run right into him

haha well, the photo comment tipped me off that you (hopefully) werent past 30. but, just the way you talked made me think you were through high school, prolly collage too, but still young. so i went with 26. and you reminded me of a few of my friends who are in their 20s.

i was glad to read that you have at least taken the time to read and decide what you believe, i completly respect you more for that then someone who just believes what they are told. ok so lets see. well i also believe the big bang to an extinct. it does line up with scientific findings and would seem to make sense. but, i still believe it started with god. i mean with the big bang you can only go as far back as the two objects that started the initial reaction, producing all of this. if the 'big bang' theory did take place, it was set up perfectly by god i believe, but i regard this as a large possibility as to how god made it happen. now your next question, well, if you mean combined at schools then no, i think the teachers should teach the scienctific views. teaching religious views along side would only cause more problems, and which religion would they focus on. they couldnt and shouldnt teach them all, that wouldnt be right either. but i do believe science can line up with certain beliefs. like take the star that was super bright when jesus was born. i dont believe god made a special star just for the occasion, it was a naturally occurance taht god lined up with the birth. last night venus and jupiter and the moon were all so close that to the naked eye they looked to be one brillent star, this is a possibilty for the star on the births night. i mean all im saying is, science can explain a LOT, and when combined with religion (although i hate that term =p) i think it explains even more. so i hope that answered your questions, now of course i have one for you. since you dont believe in a 'god' you wouldnt believe in a devil right? oh, and, my guess was you were 26, close enough huh? :] once again it seems as though in leaving you a novel to read. =\

dude, like i completely agree with you. that's what we believe at my church. well at least the 'younger' believers do. like i absolutely hate religion because of what you said. it divides people, and makes them self serving morons. don't get me wrong, i believe in god, and jesus and all of that, you know the bible and all, but not religion. if that makes sense. and i know that probably half of what i believe is wrong. at my church were totally open for change( once again that being mainly the younger believers, some of the head dudes are a little stuck in their beliefs of course) but thats why were constantly reading and talking about things with people. if were wrong, we change. we try to mainly just be living a 'good' life, and do it for god. buuuuuut im not sure why im telling you any of this, so more questions, if you dont mind that is of course. :] do you believe in a god(s) or greater power that made all this happen, or is it the big bang or evolution type of thing for you. (BTW i believe in evolution, being the evolving of creatures but being started by god of course) hmmm i feel like this is such a long post. sorryy =\ oh but i know nothing about you. how old are you, what made you change from the beliefs you were brought up with to your beliefs now and such. sorry to be nosy ;] but im sure ill have more things to ask. alright, that's definitely enough though.

I enjoy physics myself, (not the classroom part, but the why do things behave like they do part) but here is a nonscientific question for u. If you do not believe in God then where does someones morality come from?

hi im sory to hear u dont believe but maybe one day u will i know i def do i need God in my life hes been so faithful to me and blessed me in many ways over the past and im gratefull that he saved me and gave me a new start im forgiven u can be too all u need to do is ask. hope to hear from ya talk soon by the way were u from?

I HAVE MY BELIEFS AS TO WHY PEOPLE BECOME AGNOSTICS OR ATHEISTS THOUGH I'M SURE YOU WOULD DISAGREE. THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE DAYS OF JESUS - SO IT'S NOT NEW.
SO I HOPE YOUR PURSUIT WILL LEAD YOU TO WHAT YOUR SEEKING FOR. YOU WILL NEVER FILL THE CONTENTMENT OF YOUR HEART TILL YOU DO.
SO - AS FOR ME- DON'T WANT TO ARGUE- YOU WOULD NEVER CONVINCE ME TO BELIEVE OR DOUBT WHAT I BELIEVE BECAUSE I KNOW. I DIDN'T ENCOUNTER RELIGION - OR PHILOSOPHY - I ENCOUNTERED A LIFE CHANGING RELATIONSHIP. ONE THAT STRENGTHENS ME DAILY- AND HAS BROUGHT A JOY TO MY LIFE LIKE NOTHING ELSE. TRIED THE DRUGS, BOOZE, ILLICIT SEX, DELVED INTO THE GREAT PHILOSOPHIES OF MEN - THE SUPPOSEDLY ENLIGHTENED- IT ALL LEFT ME HOLLOW AND EMPTY- WHAT I HAVE NOW - NOTHING COMPARES. I HOPE ONE DAY YOU WILL HAVE THAT ENCOUNTER.
