i don`t understand he was first. if you are saying adam was first. how can that be when jesus was from the begging and has always been. yes he was the word beforehe came down from histhrone to become flesh and live with man and become the only way to heaven through his dieing on the cross. , what you have just wrote is why the word says a woman can`t hold any office that is behind the pulpit or teaching men. is because that can`t have a husband

There is a whole lot of scriptures in The Bible in The Old Testament, that if we were to apply them to ourselves literally, i don't believe i or you or any human , could be saved , much less, be a Pastor, we all would have been stoned to death, at least i know i would have been long dead! now i am not a Judge, or a legalist, My GrandMother had to Lead our Family, Because my Granddad, all He did was sit in His Bedroom and fix watches and go fishing, i cannot recall ten words that He spoke, to me in 20 years that i lived with them, and we all turned out Men, by the Teaching and Leading of our GrandMother, no sissies in our Family, But a Wise and Virtous GrandMother, That taught us The Word, and also lived it, by deeds of Love, She taught us that Love , or charity begins at Home, she never usurped Authority over my GrandFather, and she Loved Him to his dying days and obeyed Him , But She led The Home, and according to Timothy's Letter from Paul; That is how one is to Be Qualified , first at Home, Paul Tells The Women not to usurp Authority over The Husband, Now It's different , if He Allows it or Gives Her Permission, That's Between , The Man, God , Jesus, and The Woman , that has an Husband, Peter said , Your son's and Daughters ,would , prophesy( or preach) These signs shall folow them that believe, , go into all the world and , Preach the Gospel, my Mom Preached The Gospel to our Family, my Dad Stayed Drunk!

i am sorry about your dad but your mom did not preach she did the same as my mom. man is suppose to lead the house but some didn`t so the moms had to help us find the lord jesus . there are a lot of moms still telling there moms about jesus because no one else will. they are being and doing what god has led them to do be a witness for him telling everyone of his saving grace. not standing in a pulpit holding the office of a pastor. or a evangelist. or a teacher . but through my mom beleving and talking my dad got saved, it not what i thank or anyone esle it is what the sprit of god says. and that is what god is going to judge us on hie word.god is not going to comprmise his word for us or anyone else if his word says no it is no.
