The Jezebel Spirit
It's been a lot of talk's about The Jezebel Spirit, is there anyone out there that may possibly know the exact signs of one operating in and under the influence or possession of that spirit, and what are the exact sign's, God say's we have not because we ask not, and i am asking, serious searcher1 i believe in order to combat a spirit one must be able to recognize the enemy! for we are not ignorant of satan's devices,

Some characteristics of Jezebel
The clear battle with the Jezebel spirit is over people. In the church, that spirit desires to rule and control the people of God. If we are not people of decision, we will fall under the spell of the Jezebel spirit. She is a supporter of, and heavily influential in, religious organization as well as politics. While Jezebel is religious, she wields her false power against the true prophetic flow of God. She hates the prophets and all prophetic ministry. Specifically she hates repentance, humility and intercessory prayer, because they destroy her strongholds of stubbornness and pride.
Jezebels love to project a sense of power they do not have. It is based on intimidation, in order to cloud the minds of those they desire to oppress. How frequently that spirit tries to wield influence: In the church - "If you take this action, we will withhold our tithe." Or, "Submit to me, or you won't have a spiritual covering." In spiritual organizations, - "If you don't see it my way, I will just pull out and you can deal without me and all the work I prepared I will keep." Yes, if one does not go along with his or her action, there will be consequences. Intimidation always seeks to move the person through threats. This use of fear puts the victim under control out of fear of losing something precious to him. This is blackmail and far from God's love, because these are all improper channels, use of illegitimate power and authority, projection of power that is not ours to use. This by no means insinuates that a person shouldn't stand up for himself, but rather that it should be done through proper channels. Manipulating, intimidating and dominating another human being are blatant uses of control and illegitimate authority.

I'm sure you by now have had it answered, but I thought i would comment,The Best way to define the Jezebel Spirit is it characterizes anyone who acts in the same manner as Jezebel did, engaging in immorality idolatry,false teachings and unrepentant can lead to false accusations and division within the Body of Christ~ Darlene

The world's corrupt, godless society influences God's people beyond our realization, and spiritual fornication and idol worship in particular have long been the bane of both physical and spiritual Israel. For instance, when Judah's exile ended, only a remnant of the people (42,360) returned to Jerusalem (Ezra 2:64); the vast majority chose to remain in pagan Babylon. How many of us today put the things of this world ahead of God? The Bible suggests only a small faithful remnant will pay the price to return to God with their whole hearts and "come out of her" in the end time (Isaiah 1:9).

You are so right,The Jezebel Spirit is many things in operation, I recognize it more and more,It seems that the church has lost it's power,many don't even know who they are in Christ,Jesus,alone, know how to come against the things that the enemy throws at them.So many things that are taught with many fine lines,so fine that even the elect can be fooled. We are definitely in some trying times,our world,our goverment,I just Pray that The Holy Spirit will reveal the truth to many,That they will know who they are in Christ Jesus~Walk In The Power and Authority That Christ Jesus Spoke about~In Ephesians 6:10 Finally brethren,be strong in The Lord,and In His Power and Might. And Then Ephesians 6:11 Put on the Whole Armour of God,that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,but against principalities,against powers,against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in High Places.This is my Prayer that Many will See The Truth,and Seek out a Church to Teach The Whole Word of God,Be Taught,and Walk In Victory~~ Blessings~~ Darlene

you need to look at what jesus is saying not just what it is . get a strongs accordence. look at what the words mean in the greek and hebrew. it is talikng about women preachers. they are not to be ordained to hold a pastoer ship. it is telling what is going to happen to them and their children, and also the ones that sit under there teaching and preaching, read the whole thing not just that one verse. it is all ther the jezebel sprit is thew same sprit that was on jezebel when she was married to herod. she ruled the kingship not herod. that is what the jezebel sprit is take time to read and study the word and see what it says by the holy sprit hsad it wrote

I have looked at what the word of God says about the Jezebel Spirit,It is a Spirit that is in Operation, I didn't know that spirits just seek out women, it seeks to destroy everything in its Path. 1 Kings 16:31 2 Kings9:22, 30 Also it comes on All mankind.

In Revelation 2:20 Not withstanding I have a few things against thee,because thou sufferest that women Jezebel,which calleth herself a prophetess to teach and seduce my servants to commit fornication,and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. This us not the Jezebel of 1 Kings18-19 but women in the local church at Thyatira. Rev.2 18-29 I do believe that it was a Spirit in operation from Satan to twist the Word of God,and Spirits can come on anyone who has a open doorway.

in rev. 2 it says woman not man kind not child. it is talking to thwomen preachers and the ones that is sitting under their teachings. man is not to sit under a women teaching or preaching

i am not an Authority on all of The scriptures, but i am hooked up with the one who is, and iknow for sure God is a God of order, Alpha and Omega, from a firm foundation to a strong Tower, and He is is just and fair, but uncompromising in His truth, and longsuffering , not willing that any should perish, but that all might come to a change when they discover their errors. in the beginning God created Adam first he is perfect when He was originally created until He hearkened unto the voice of his wife, He was first say's Paul and Jesus and Moses and The Bible, and man must take lead as say's the scriptures, if a man desire the office of a Bishop, The Husband of one wife, regardless as to wether the issue is a woman Pastor,we all should examine our motives for even wanting to lead anybody, it first say's even the man should be qualified for even ruling his own household well first, with his children in subjec, why would anyone strive to be a leader, it comes automatic if he or she is qualified , from past accomplishment withthe least of things, andGod , promotes only those that are not self-willed anyway, he resist selfish ambitions, humility is what causes great leaders, most all of Gods leaders said , hey not me! here's The Order, God, Christ, Man, Woman, Children!

I do agree with you,You are right on,I was interested in commenting on the topic of The Jezebel spirit, I know of the strong hold it can have on many . Everyone has there own thoughts about scripture,and I don't want to step on any toes,I make comments because I have experienced them,or have gained some knowledge about it,not to say I'm right,just throwing out my input on things.,and experiance.I like what you said,we all should examine our motives for even wanting to lead,and it does come automatic,it's a calling that the Lord has and places on one,and not self willed,by all means do I know that. I never wanted what the Lord called me too,when he called me,I told him you made a mistake~As a women I have seen so many frown on any place that a women holds,it has gotten better,but I was a little shocked in my last response, it has been awhile since I heard that one,Frist of all,My Head is The Lord,second is my husband,we are one,The Lord is my covering,as well as my husband,with that in order,If the Lord has a calling on my life,and he does,then as you said it will come automatically, reguarding the Jezebel In Rev 2:18-19 1 Kings18-19 are two different cases,which you can see above in my post,That was interesting I didn't realize it until I really looked at it.
