My son's healing

After my son Benjamin was born we begin to notice a very large swelling in the right side of his groin area. We, out of curiosity took him to the doctor to find out what was wrong with him. The doctors determined that he had a hole that was allowing his intestines to fall into the right side of his groin area, which formed a Hernia. They scheduled a day for surgery and told us there was no way around it, we told the doctor that we believed that the Lord would heal him and the doctor said "you can believe what you want to believe but the hole is not going to close itself up. He even went as far as to say that the left side of his groin area would open up also. It is not going to go away and we should have this surgery before he turns one year old."

When the day came for the surgery we refused to take him to the doctors, and we prayed for his healing. Months would past and still there was no manifestation of healing. my wife prayed an asked the Lord that if it was a certain time that he would do the healing, then take away any pain that the boy would experience, and the Lord did just that. He had no pain throughout the entire ordeal. A year went by and there was no manifestation of healing. People in the family was saying to us that we should go ahead and have the operation done, and even one of the local Pastors suggested that we should get the operation when we asked him for prayer.

Finally, the Lord laid it on our heart to start taking communion on a regular basis. The scriptures says in 1 Corinthians 11:30 ...For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

"Not discerning the Lord's body," well, the Lord's body was broken for our healing..."with and by his stripes we are healed," I don't know when exactly it happened, but my wife went to change his diaper and the swelling was gone, not for a day or two like in the past, but completely gone. A week went by, then two, then a month and now it's been More than a year and he is 2-1/2 years old, and still no sign of swelling. Hallelujah! MY BOY IS HEALED!

It has been more than a 2 years since the doctors told us that he needed surgery. We can believe Jesus for healing, He will do it. This wasn't the first time someone in my family has been healed. Me, my daughter, my wife and my oldest son was healed twice. The Lord is still a healer, AMEN!
