There is much talk about the above mostly because of all the very bad things that are happening all over the world.
BUT HAS IT REALLY SUNK IN?

I have started to read the e-book, allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to me as I read, currently on page 14 and I feel more than ever before to press ahead and accomplish the task He has set for my life.

One thing I always think of when checking out at a store is that in Revelations it mentions a cashless society being a sign of the end of times. Think about how few people use cash, it's all plastic these days.

I am always concerned with the mark of the beast on the hand or the forehead. I am told it will be a conscious choice we make when we are offered to accept it. Will we be aware of it and recognize it when it comes? I want to avoid it at all costs.

I do believe we will be aware. However, I think that it will appear benificial. For example, I have heard rumor of a computer chip that can be placed in the forhead or left hand that has a bar code, when scanned it can give doctors, police, ect. all information on the individual. Thus, this eliminates paper work. It is also supposed to prevent kid-nappings because it can be traced anywhere. This sounds like the mark of the beast to me. But I could be wrong. I do know that I will never recieve something like this, nor will I subject my son to it.

That is one of the possibilities which crossed my mind.
I know there is a country club somewhere in the US whose life-time members could voluntarily be injected with the microchip to allow them admission to the club without carrying their membership card. According to the news story, several of them had it done. I'm not saying its the mark of the beast. I'm just saying I wouldn't do it.
Another possibility is, instead of credit cards, they require everyone to have a chip inserted for use in keeping track of our currency and spending. Just wave your hand over the scanner and pay for your groceries or your cab fare, whatever. If that ever happens, I will be broke.

I believe that as we are sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, that we will clearly be led to make those choices as these "end times" loom closer.
In your posting, you use the word "concern". I believe that this is often a misnomer for "fear"--a strong and deceptive lure of satan.
I am called to live, not in fear, but IN and THROUGH the power of the Holy Spirit. Yes for sure, we must be knowledgeable of these "signs" of the end of this world, as we know it--but we cannot invite fear in to these choices. We must ask for words of knowledge and for words of wisdom (as well as seeking instruction from the Holy Bible, from Saints living and gone, and from nature)... and then step into those choices, confident in our faith.

Carla: I fear only the Lord God. Oh, I know there are sermons which declare "fear" is synonymous with (or, as you put it, a misnomer for) "respect", however, The first commandment did not translate into "respect", it translated into "fear" the Lord God and have no others before Him.
Although I do not fear Satan, I am concerned because he DOES exist and he DOES try to hurt people. I don't fear open flame, nor do I thrust my hand into it.
I am not confusing "concern" with "fear".
I will endeavor to be "concerned", alert, and obedient to God and Jesus Christ.

I heard on the radio yesterday more talk about the "Amero", the currency intended to be used among Canada, Mexico and the U.S. and that it is meant to replace our currency and the currency of the other countries in the North American continent, similar to the Euro in Europe.
Of course, it is still speculation, but such things seem to fall in line with the predictions mentioned in Revelation.

I read this e-book from cover to cover and found at least a dozen errors in his Biblical interpretations and quotes, and many outright wrong teachings. This guy is no profit. After reading some of his coomments on his website, it's also clear that evrytime one of his predicitions doesn't come true, he comes up with some outrageous excuse as to why it didn't happen. If youu read the Biblical passages in his book and carefully compare thhem with the actual passages in any version of the Bible, it is clear to see how he changes one or two simple words or leaves a word or two out to make it fit his personal truth, but it quickly becomes evident that he is misusing scripture for his own purpose. There is nothing prophetic about his teachings whatsoever.

I would not take Ronald Weinland to seriously as he is knowledable enough to be deluded. Just keep in mind that for each of us who are born-again believers in Jesus Christ we have entered into the Sabbatical rest of our souls by making peace with God through the shed blood of Jesus. Everyday for us is a sabbath day as it is not now a 24 hour day but a dispensation (daytime) of God's Grace. We are all children of the light in Jesus so do not fear them that try to get you to fear about putting a foot wrong regarding days, feasts, holy days or sabbaths. Remember 'God is seeking those that will worship Him in spirit and in truth' not on a certain day of the week. John 4:23 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship him." Col 2:16-17 "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. " Stay Blessed and StayFree.
