Fellowship of World Christians 'Working Together in Union with Christ'

I just saw this for the first time today. My wife and I have been planning on watching it with our neighbors for a couple weeks now and we keep putting it off for one reason or another. I just sat down and watched it by myself straight through.

I didn't even feel it coming but I cried three times watching it. The last time, I was just sobbing. (I can't remember the last time I cried, especially about a movie.)

I know it says it runs long, time-wise, but it seemed like it only lasted an hour. I was surprised when the credits started to roll.

If there is anyone out there that hasn't seen this, I highly recommend it.

I am definitely having my neighbors over in a week or two to watch it but I'm glad I saw it by myself first with no interruptions or distractions. Quite a powerful movie.

Anyone else have any thoughts or reactions to the movie?

Very powerful movie! And very beautifully done. Shows the very extreme of God's love for us, that He would suffer His one and only Son, to take upon the sins of the world, in order to make redemption for us, as sinners. To reconcile us back to HIm, the ultimate price sacrificed, His Son. A brutal death yet beautifully done in that, He loved us so much that He laid down His own life for us. Thus, in return all He desires is for us, is to love Him, honor Him, believe in Him and seek a personal relationship with Him. A rather small price to pay and a light burden to bear after all He has done and given for us already. That movie was quite an eye opener for many, myself included. And God has used that movie in such a magnificant way that many unbelievers also came to know Christ as well. I pray and know it will continue to touch many more, who view it and lives will still be changed because thats what an awesome of a God we serve!! Praise be to God forever and ever! And yes, it brought tears to my eyes as well, you'd have to have a pretty cold hearted for it not to, it was so awesome to hear of all the wonderful things it was doing to the people who went to it, when it was in the box office, some headlines read "Not a dry eye in the theater". Not so great of an incident but one person even had a heartattack, stroke or something, don't quite recall right now, while viewing the film, very tragic and sad for that person yet shows the very POWER in that film. Surely, not a movie that you want to sit down with a bowl of popcorn, thats for sure. This is as real as it gets for many, and brings such an unforgettable image of what our Lord Jesus went through for us. If you haven't seen it yet, you really ought to soon. Its the best movie, Hollywood has ever made!

A very good film;I thought the violence (esp.the scourging) was overdone until I read Isaiah 52...there were many who were appalled at him his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man
and his form marred beyond human likeness
